Our Wind Phone is open and waiting for all to use! Come reach out and make the phone calls you wish you could still make. The old rotary phone gives a tactile experience as you dial your loved one’s phone number. There is no dial tone but the wind takes all messages.

The first wind phone was created in 2010 by Itaru Sasaki, in Ōtsuchi, Japan. Talking on the phone in his garden to his beloved cousin helped him cope with his grief. The next year he opened it to thousands who would come to find solace after the devastating tsunami. Thanks to the legacy of Lynda Shannon Bluestein we heard about them.

Wind phones around the world can be found at www.mywindphone.com. We are proud that ours too will soon be up on the listing. We invite all who may find comfort to come make a call.
